During the previous 4 years (2018 - 2022), I completed a PhD project at Translational and Clinical Research Institute (Newcastle University), studying the genetics of a group of inherited diseases called ciliopathies and I obtained the corresponding PhD degree in 2023. I studied Biology at Autonomous University of Madrid and did a master’s degree in Genetics and Evolution at University of Granada, Spain. Keen to use interpersonal, analytical and transferable skills. I believe that the combination of Genomics, Molecular Genetics, Cell Biology and Bioinformatics, as well as academic research and industry are tools with limitless potential, that can answer to multiple biomedical questions and improve the development of Translational and Precision Medicine and Industry. My interests are to continue my academic and professional development and acquire new laboratory, programming, analytical and teaching skills, science, nature, sports, travelling, music, education, sign language and whatever experience that enriches my academic and personal development. / Doctor (PhD) en Genética Clínica y graduado en Biología. Actualmente trabajo como profesor colaborador doctor en la Universidad San Pablo CEU impartiendo prácticas de laboratorio desde diciembre de 2023. He trabajado como investigador en el grupo de investigación de la Dra Carmen Ayuso en el Departamento de Genética del Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Fundación Jiménez Díaz, en Madrid (desde enero 2023 hasta octubre 2023). Realicé mi doctorado en la Universidad de Newcastle, en el Translational and Clinical Research Institute (Reino Unido), sobre la genética de un grupo de enfermedades hereditarias llamadas ciliopatías.
